B. Stockradar Portfolio Membership
Includes the services of the Stockradar Stock Analysis Membership plus three portfolio modules
1. PortfolioTracking
Set and forget! This module offers 5 smaller portfolios’ (20-30 stocks) for you to select from. This enables you to realistically track the simple objective method and the mechanical signals Stockradar generates from our universe of stocks (200 approx.) Then see the historical performance since March 2003 with valuations updated every night.
2. Portfolio Testing
See the results, test the results! The second module gives you the ability to construct your own portfolio of up to 20 stocks and test it over Stockradars trading history back to March 2003. This is effectively a back testing routine and is for those interested in developing their own portfolio using Stockradars recommendations.
3. Aggressive Long Term Portfolio (ALTP)
This Portfolio is a long term "Buy and Hold" portfolio that "buys and sells" and is aimed at hitting the excesses of market fear (by buying) and greed (by selling) and is based on and benchmarked against the Top 50 stocks. A "fresh" start from a neutral position is assumed as at the 1/1/2009. New recommendations are published each Monday.
The philosophy behind this portfolio is to take advantage of the stock market cycles by selling and buying the excesses of greed and fear taking into account the interest rate cycle and the stock market cycle of (up) trend – distribution – (down) trend – accumulation back to (up) trend again. For example having bought ANZ in early 2009 at $14.40 this stock will remain in the portfolio unless the lows of $12.00 are taken out and that will represent our Stop Loss level. The reverse will be true on the upside. If we sell on what we believe is a cycle high and a new high is ultimately made for the stock we will re enter the stock.
